Abstract

This study examined the effects of Perceived organizational politics and perceived organization support on employees’ voice behaviors. PA/NA personality type was hypothesized as an important moderator in the POP-voice and POS-voice relationship. Field data were collected from 447 employees working in the Telecom sector of Pakistan. Findings of the study depict that Perceived politics was negatively related and perceived organization support was positively related to employee voice behaviors. The results of the moderated regression analysis found support for the moderating effects of PA/NA personality between perceived politics, perceived organization support, and employee voice. The findings of the study corroborate that supportive environments promote whereas perceived political environments hamper employee's voice behaviors and these direct relationships are strengthened by PA/NA personality traits.
