The Journal of Innovative Research in Management Sciences (JIRMS) is committed to the widest possible dissemination and reuse of scholarly research while ensuring appropriate recognition of authorship. All articles published in JIRMS are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

The applicable licence is clearly displayed on the Journal's website and within the PDF version of every published article.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant JIRMS a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce, archive, preserve, distribute, and communicate the work as part of the Journal and its associated scholarly communication services. The author's copyright remains unaffected by publication in JIRMS.

Creative Commons Licence

All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

Under the terms of this licence, any user may:

  • Read, download, copy, print, and share the published work;
  • Reproduce, distribute, and transmit the work in any medium or format;
  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the work for any lawful purpose, including commercial use;

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted content, including text, figures, tables, images, datasets, and other third-party materials, may be legally published under the CC BY 4.0 licence. Where permission is required for copyrighted material owned by others, authors must obtain the necessary permissions before publication.

Third-Party Content

Third-party material included within an article remains subject to the copyright and licence specified by its respective copyright holder unless otherwise indicated.

Users wishing to reuse material that is excluded from the article's CC BY 4.0 licence must obtain permission directly from the relevant copyright owner.

The applicable copyright and licensing information is published:

  • on the JIRMS website;
  • on the article landing page;
  • within the PDF version of each published article; and
  • within the article metadata, where applicable.

This ensures transparency and facilitates the lawful reuse and dissemination of published research.

This policy supports the principles of open-access publishing and aligns with the recommendations and best practices of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA), and other internationally recognized scholarly communication frameworks. This policy is reviewed annually or whenever changes to copyright legislation, licensing requirements, or international publishing standards require revision.
